About
An engineer's training and a designer's eye
I was born in Ontario and have called the West Coast home for the last decade. I studied civil engineering and worked in that field before moving west.
Since arriving in BC I've focused more on design, and I worked on the marketing side of real estate. That mix gives me a useful read on a property, and I enjoy sharing it with the people I work with.
How it's built
On a walkthrough I pay attention to the practical things: the site, the structure, and how a home has been looked after. That doesn't replace a home inspection. It does help you ask better questions before you write an offer.
How it shows
Design and marketing work taught me what makes a listing stand out. When you're selling, that shapes how we prepare, photograph, and present your home.

I work across all of Greater Victoria, but the Westshore is where my family and I call home.
- Langford
- The busiest centre on the Westshore, with a lot of newer construction: subdivisions, townhomes, and condos. Bear Mountain and Langford Lake are close by.
- Colwood
- Oceanfront along Esquimalt Lagoon, Royal Roads University and Hatley Castle, and new neighbourhoods at Royal Bay beside established family streets.
- View Royal
- Sits between Victoria and the rest of the Westshore, so the trip into town is short. Thetis Lake and the Galloping Goose Trail are right there.
- Metchosin
- Rural and quiet. Acreages, farms, and hobby properties, with Witty's Lagoon on the coast.
- Highlands
- Large forested lots and very little development, next to Gowlland Tod and Mount Work parks.
- Sooke
- Further west along Highway 14. A harbour town with a growing number of new homes and easy access to the Sooke Potholes and the coast.
